Car-Protect300 is a transparent, adhesive-coated film specially developed for protecting a car's bodywork. Its excellent shock-absorbing properties protect your bodywork against chips caused by stones, insects, car doors, washing brushes, etc. This is an evolution of the 150-µm Carprotect film. It has been successfully tested by the independent SERCOVAM laboratory in accordance with the standards set by Renault^® (in its specifications for "adhesive films for the protection of bodywork") pursuant to the following report numbers:

Toepassing & onderhoud

Apply to a surface that is clean and free from any traces of contaminants (dust, grease, wax, silicone, etc.).

Particular care must be taken to clean the angles and periphery of the target surfaces in order to enable the film to adhere properly to the surface.

In the case of an already painted substrate, apply to undamaged original paintwork only. If the paintwork is not original and/or damaged, the application and the removal are at the judgement and risk of the installer.

Due to the composition of the transparent films, application to light surfaces (white etc.) can create a colour difference between the unprotected surface and the protected surface.

Excellent protection against vandalism (key scratches).
To facilitate application, HEXIS have several types of squeegees in their range of accessories, ranging from softer to harder (plastic or felt).

Duurzaamheid in detail

Vertical exposure: 6-8 years.

Lifespan depends on the type of substrate, substrate preparation, exposure conditions and nature and frequency of the cleaning. Southern exposure may divide the durability of the films by 2, and horizontal exposure by 2.8. In addition, elevated temperatures (above +50 °C) (+122 °F) or pollution significantly reduce this durability.
