The films are composed of 100-µm, calendered, monomeric PVC, which is coated with a pressure-sensitive, extra-reinforced, permanent acrylic adhesive. Due to their extra-reinforced adhesive, these products are particularly recommended for application to smooth or slightly grainy walls (such as concrete, chipboard, plywood etc. or low-energy surfaces (polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.). For solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV inkjet printing. They have a glossy surface finish.

Toepassing & onderhoud
Due to the wide variety of existing substrates, the application of film to an unsuitable and/or inadequately prepared surface or coating may result in media lifting or damage when the film is removed. The application and removal of the film are at the judgement and risk of the installer. HEXIS will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any damages or deteriorations caused by the installation or removal of a vinyl film.
- Very good adhesion to glass, steel, aluminium, PVC, melamine, smooth or slightly granular surfaces, etc., except for chalky or damaged substrates (cracks, holes, humidity or condensation spots, excess of texture).
If necessary, refurbish the substrate or existing laminate before applying the vinyl.
- Carry out a degassing test on freshly painted surfaces before applying any film.
A drying time of 7-10 days may be needed before proceeding with the film application. The degassing of an undried paint can lead to lifting, bubbles and tearing of the film.
Aanbevelingen
- The surface finish of the prints may be modified/improved/protected by applying the appropriate laminate: V700 or V650. For UV prints, use the protective VCR650 laminate.

- Vertical outdoor exposure on flat surfaces:
Blank unprinted: 4 years. - Vertical outdoor exposure on slightly grainy surfaces (concrete, chipboard, etc.):
Printed and laminated with V700, V650 or VCR650: 2 to 4 months depending on exposure and climate conditions. - Indoor exposure on slightly grainy surfaces (concrete, chipboard, etc.): 3 years.
