Films composed of 100-µm calendered, monomeric PVC, which is coated with a super-reinforced, pressure-sensitive, grey acrylic adhesive. Due to its super-reinforced adhesive, this product is particularly recommended for applications to walls (e.g. Placoplatre® BA13 plasterboard, smooth or slightly rough walls). Usable for solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV inkjet printing. Glossy (WG1) or matt (WM1) surface finish.

Toepassing & onderhoud
Due to the wide variety of existing substrates, the application of film to an unsuitable and/or not adequately prepared surface or coating may result in media lifting from the substrate or damage to the substrate or existing laminate when the film is removed. The application and removal of the film are at the judgement and risk of the installer. HEXIS will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any damages or deteriorations caused by the installation or removal of a vinyl film.
- Very good adhesion to glass, steel, aluminium, PVC, melamine, smooth or slightly textured surfaces (such as Placoplatre® BA13 plasterboard, etc.), except grain, chalky, damaged substrates (having cracks, holes, humidity or condensation spots, excess of texture, etc.), or those coated with acrylic paint, etc.
- Due to the wide variety of existing substrates, a preliminary tear-off test must be carried out on a small inconspicuous surface of the substrate using a small piece of film.
If necessary, refurbish the substrate or existing coating before applying the film.
- Carry out a degassing test on freshly painted surfaces before applying any film.
A drying time of 7-10 days may be necessary before proceeding with the film application. The degassing of a non-dried paint can lead to lifting, bubbles and tearing of the film.
Aanbevelingen
- The surface finish of your printings may be modified/improved/protected by applying the appropriate laminate: V700 or V650. For UV printings, use the protective VCR650 laminate.

- Vertical outdoor exposure on flat surfaces:
- Unprinted: 4 years.
- Printed and laminated: 3 years.
- Printed: 2 years. - Vertical outdoor exposure on textured surfaces (brick, concrete, chipboard, etc.).
- Printed and laminated: 1 year depending on exposure and climate conditions. - Indoor exposure on textured surfaces (brick, concrete, chipboard, etc.):
- Unprinted: 5 years.
