TT21516 : Adhesive PE Tape Anthracite
PE FOAM TAPES
1-mm, double-sided, technical tape, which is composed of an anthracite grey polyethylene foam that is coated on both sides with a permanent, pressure-sensitive, acrylic adhesive. Intended for permanently fixing objects onto various substrates, in particular low-energy surfaces (such as polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.). In certain cases, it may replace mechanical fastening (welding, rivets, glue, etc.). Indoor or outdoor application.
Presentatie
Suitable for various surfaces: wood, metal, glass and most synthetic materials.
TT21516 is especially suitable for low-energy surfaces like PE and PP.
TT21536 has a rubber adhesive with very high initial tack. Resistant to UV rays, solvents and humidity.
Applications: mounting beadings, emblems, displays, hooks, cable guides, mirrors.

Toepassing & onderhoud
Both the ambient and the substrate temperature must comply with the minimum application temperature. A lower application temperature does not guarantee that there is enough adhesion strength of the double-sided adhesive tape to the substrate.
- During application, apply maximum pressure in order to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Permanent adhesion, optimal after 24 hours of contact at 23 °C."
