Anti-fouling film
An environment-friendly solution
The film is composed of 120-µm, cast vinyl, which is coated with a pressure-sensitive, solvent-based, acrylic adhesive. Intended for the protection of hulls of boats sailing in a marine environment, excluding propellers and shafts. It has a blue colouration with a satin surface finish.

Toepassing & onderhoud
- Active substances: Cuprous oxide and zineb, < 35 % w/w of the entire product.
- The film is designed to be applied to the hulls of boats sailing in salt water. It is not suitable for use in fresh water.
- The film must not be used on hulls composed of aluminium, light alloy or on galvanised surfaces.
- Before the application of the antifouling film to the hull of a boat, it is mandatory to carry out refurbishment work first. The film must be applied to a renewed primer coat or gelcoat, as a replacement of the conventional antifouling paint.
HEXIS decline all responsibility in the case of application of the film to an inadequately prepared, dilapidated or with an antifouling film incompatible hull.
- In the case of painted substrates, self-adhesive media must only be applied to undamaged original paintwork. If the paintwork is not original and/or damaged, the application and the removal are at the judgement and risk of the installer.
Duurzaamheid in detail
- For immersed use: up to 2 years.
