Toepassing & onderhoud
- Suitable for wet application.
- Front and rear signage: alternating horizontal retro-reflective red and fluorescent yellow stripes with a minimum height of 0.14 m over the entire width of the vehicle. The centred chevron must point upwards and cover a minimum of 0.16 m² at the front and 0.32 m² at the rear.
For vehicles like Victim Assistance and Road Rescue Vehicles, the entire car body must be wrapped, except for roll-up doors (...) and accessories (ladders) mounted on the vehicle.
- Side signage: retro-reflective yellow strip or contour marking over the entire width of the vehicle in accordance with the decree of 1st October 1998 and the ECE104 regulation.
- Maintenance advice:
- Do not clean the film within the first 48 hours following its application.
- To avoid scratching the product, it is advised to start the cleaning process by rinsing with clear water and low pressure to remove dust from the surface. Then clean with a non-abrasive sponge and water that may contain a gentle detergent (pH neutral) if necessary.
- High-pressure cleaning: the water jet must be at an angle of 90° to the surface. Do not keep the jet static on a single area. Maximum pressure: 75 bars. Maximum temperature: 50 °C (122 °F). Distance between the water jet and the retroreflective chevron: minimum of 1.2 meters.
- In the case of an already painted substrate, self-adhesive media must only be applied to undamaged original paintwork. If the paintwork is not original and/or damaged, the application and the removal are at the judgement and risk of the installer.
