The film is composed of 80-µm, cast PVC, which is coated with a pressure-sensitive, acrylic adhesive. Intended for application to truck tarpaulins. It has a satin surface finish.
- With excellent flexibility, making it easy to weed, the TB9000S film is suited for large letterings (logos, graphics, decorative strips and more).
- This film offers good resistance to weather hazards and mechanical stresses (e.g. automatic washing programs).
- Specially designed for fast application, it also provides high initial tack and allows the tape to be removed straight after application.

Toepassing & onderhoud
- This product is intended for application to road transport tarpaulins.
Due to its flexibility, TB9000S adapts perfectly to the substrate's unevenness and therefore provides durable, long-term adhesion. The film will conform smoothly to the tarpaulin's undulations.
Since truck tarpaulins are generally structured, applying adhesive-coated film to a wet tarpaulin or applying film using an application liquid will strongly reduce the optimal film adhesion. The liquids trapped in the tarpaulin structure will not be able to be expelled during application.
- Application to a new, clean and perfectly degreased tarpaulin (HEXIS’O or isopropyl alcohol).
Applying to a used or new uncleaned tarpaulin is at the customer's judgement.
- The application of the film must be carried out in a flat position on a rigid support.
- Possibility of transferring the film using the HEX904 tape.
- After application, wait for at least 24 hours with the tarpaulin stretched out before using the truck.
HEXIS-tip
We recommend using HEX904 (see page 82) tape for transferring the film.
Aanbevelingen
- HEXIS recommend verifying the compatibility of the film sample with the substrate under real conditions of use before completing the project. Many external factors that are not controllable by HEXIS, such as the chemical composition of the substrate and the environmental conditions of use, can have an impact on the durability of the film.
