Film composed of a 140-µm calendered, polymeric PVC, which is coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. Decorative film with "carbon fibre" effect, for use on flat surfaces.

Toepassing & onderhoud

Film with "carbon fibre" surface finish, for the decoration of flat surfaces.
In the case of an already painted substrate, self-adhesive media must only be applied to undamaged original paintwork. If the paintwork is not original and/or damaged, the application and the removal are at the judgement and risk of the installer.
The S5CANB carbon effect film is a fragile product, which is sensitive to scratching and pressure marks. To be handled with care.
Possibility of transferring the S5CANB film using the HEX909, HEX910 and HEX930 tapes.

HEXIS-tip

The use of HEX910 tape is recommended for transferring SUPTAC Carbon S5CANB.

Duurzaamheid in detail

The durabilities in this document are confirmed by UV ageing and natural exposure tests; the durations given are the periods during which the surface finish is expected to be free from any gradual reduction or modification.

These results were obtained from a vertical outdoor exposure. The indicated conditions of durability are inherent to this position up to a few degrees. Other positions accentuate climatic influences and an alteration in gloss or colour, or even a slight dusting may appear.

Southern exposure with a 45° inclination may divide the durability of the film by 2, compared to the values indicated in the tables below.
