Toepassing & onderhoud
The embossed pattern of the liner in the adhesive facilitates repositioning of the film on the substrate. However, special care is required during application to ensure optimum adhesion to the substrate.
Due to the wide variety of existing substrates, the application of film to an unsuitable and/or inadequately prepared surface or coating may result in media lifting or damage when the film is removed. The application and removal of the film are at the judgement and risk of the installer. HEXIS will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any damage or deteriorations caused by the installation or removal of a vinyl film.
- For film cleaning, only use a non-abrasive sponge or soft cloth with soapy water.
- For a uniform visual aspect, it is necessary to keep the same film application direction in order to ensure colour homogeneity according to the viewing angle.
- In the case of painted substrates, self-adhesive media must only be applied to undamaged original paintwork. If the paintwork is not original and/or damaged, the application and the removal are at the judgement and risk of the installer.
Duurzaamheid in detail
- Indoor exposure, upon substrate: up to 10 years.
This durability may vary depending on frequency and type of cleaning/mechanical stress (friction, impacts etc.) to which the film is exposed.
